Four brothers and a work ethic
It was back in 1970 when the Kolitsas brothers opened Houston Pizza (HP) on Regina’s Hill Avenue. Having emigrated from Greece with little more than strong work ethic and passion for food, they threw themselves into making the best pizza, pasta, and burgers Regina had ever tasted.
But it was the pizza that stole the show. Buzz began immediately about its ample fresh toppings, killer flavour, and the homemade crust that’s both crisp and delectably soft.
As their food grew in popularity, the Kolitsas brothers had to hire more staff. And it wasn’t long before those people wanted to open their own Houston Pizza. And so on, and so on. The success of the HP franchise is a testament to employees over the years who loved the business so much they wanted to invest in it. People very quickly came to understand HP not only as a fun workplace, but a great opportunity to learn and grow.
As the business grew, so too has our menu. HP is now more than just great pizza: our full restaurant menu also features entrées like steaks, salads, and our famous dry ribs and souvlaki.

We take pride in sourcing as much homegrown product as possible: the pizza meat, souvlaki, and dry ribs are all Saskatchewan product, 100% Canadian.
And of course, HP serves 100% Canadian AngusPride® beef, famous for its 21 days minimum aging and triple “A” grade marbling.
As if that wasn’t enough, all our produce is cut fresh daily, not a week ahead of time, and our sauces and dressings are prepared in-house. Why? Because that’s just the way you crave it.
